Episode 185: Can I Get a VA Rating Without a Compensation and Pension (C&P) Exam?

CCK Law: Our Vital Role in Veterans Law

Compensation and pension, or C&P, exams are used extensively throughout the VA disability claims and appeals process. During these exams, examiners will evaluate a veteran’s claimed conditions to determine if service connection is warranted and gather evidence to assign a VA disability rating. However, VA C&P exams are not required for every disability claim and are not guaranteed to be requested. Tune in to learn more about these types of claims and the instances when an exam is not required.
