Sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which a person’s breathing is repeatedly interrupted throughout the night. There are three main types: obstructive, central, and complex (mixed). In addition, there are many conditions that can be caused or aggravated by sleep apnea. On this episode of Veterans Legal Lowdown, the CCK team is reviewing secondary conditions to sleep apnea and their VA disability ratings. We will also discuss TDIU and how to establish secondary service connection.
