CCK Settles Specially Adapted Housing Case For Army Veteran

CCK has successfully settled a claim on behalf of an Army Veteran, securing for him a grant of entitlement to specially adapted housing. This Veteran, who served in Vietnam in the Army, was 100% service-connected, including for peripheral vascular disease in his legs that required him to use a walker for locomotion. The Board of Veterans’ Appeals denied his claim because he did not have complete paralysis of the affected nerves, but on appeal, VA agreed with CCK that the Board had applied a standard higher than is in the law. This settlement will result in over five years of retroactive benefits for the Veteran.
