Episode 11: Fort McClellan Toxic Exposure Court Win
CCK Law: Our Vital Role in Veterans Law
Join CCK Partner Brad Hennings and Attorney Nick Briggs as they delve into the topic of chemical exposure at Fort McClellan. Fort McClellan was a military base in Alabama active mainly during WWII that was later converted for use as a chemical training school, including the use of toxic herbicide agents. The CCK team will discuss the recent CCK win in the case of McCray v. Wilkie. They will break down the scientific evidence, including soil samples, that clearly prove the presence of harmful chemicals in the soil at the fort until as late as 1998, and explain VA’s counter arguments and inconsistent rulings.
