Video Production Specialist

CCK is hiring a Video Production Specialist to join our growing Marketing & Communications Team.  This person will be responsible for all video production projects and initiatives from start to finish in a fast-paced, high-project-volume environment.  The ideal candidate for this role will possess the creative and technical abilities to plan and produce engaging video content for all departments in the firm.  We are looking for someone with the vision and ability to own the creative process from pre-production through editing.  A highly organized and motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering polished, professional, and compelling videos per scheduled timelines will excel in this role.


  • Responsible for all aspects of video production including concept development, scripting, preproduction, production, postproduction
  • Direct video participants throughout the filming process to meet the Firm’s standards of production quality
  • Produce materials for internal and external distribution, including firm events, presentations, promotional materials, recruiting materials, and social media materials
  • Collaborates with the Marketing & Communications team to develop creative video concepts
  • Develops and improves upon established video production processes to produce high volume, good production value videos and video assets
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations for the selection of equipment, supplies, and software related to video production
  • Research and analyze what our competitors are doing, and contribute innovative ideas to management to improve our media processes and assets
  • Contributes to the Marketing & Communications Team’s priority projects as appropriate
  • Maintains working knowledge of newest advancements in video technology, production techniques, digital formatting, and copyright in legal issues.
  • Identifies b-roll opportunities shoots them and catalogs them for future use
  • Attends and records video at firm events, which may involve working during weekends and evenings
  • Assists with the creation of other Marketing projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Demonstrated experience with pre-production planning, production, post-production, etc.
  • Skilled in directing on-camera talent with varied levels of experience and confidence
  • Aptitude for identifying and correcting production concerns in real-time
  • Ability to work effectively with internal team members and external parties and to communicate and execute a creative vision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create inventive and effective marketing material
  • Storyboarding and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of current industry standard audio and video file formats
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision, and in a team environment
  • Significant knowledge of DSLR cameras
  • Demonstrated experience in the Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro, and Microsoft Office Suite


  • Demonstrated (at least 2 years) professional experience in all facets of digital image capture, editing, studio and field lighting, and sound


  • $50,000 – $55,000

Additional Details

  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch period
