Stephanie F. Friedel

Stephanie joined CCK in October of 2015 as a litigation associate.  Stephanie’s practice focuses on representing individuals in the application, appeal, and litigation of life, health, short-term disability and long-term disability insurance benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and under private insurance contracts. Stephanie’s practice also includes litigation of personal injury, business, and contract disputes in both state and federal court.

Stephanie received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2015 after earning her B.S. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University in 2011. During law school, she served as the Executive Editor of Boston University’s Public Interest Law Journal.  Stephanie was also a member of Boston University’s Employment Rights Civil Litigation Clinic, where she represented indigent clients at administrative hearings before the Department of Unemployment Assistance and in District Court. She also served as a judicial extern at the United States Court of Appeals, for the First Circuit. In the summer of 2014, she was awarded the Loretta Smith Honors Internship at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with her friends and family, and cooking.
