Sarah K. Barr

Sarah joined CCK in March of 2015 as an Associate Attorney.  Her practice focuses on representing disabled veterans at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Sarah graduated from Bentley University in 2011.  She received a full tuition merit-based scholarship to attend Suffolk University Law School from which she graduated, cum laude, in 2014.  During law school, Sarah received the jurisprudence award in commercial law sales; the oral advocacy award in first year legal practice skills class; and was on the Dean’s list 2011-2014.  She completed a business law and financial services concentration, with distinction.  Sarah volunteered with Veterans Legal Services in Newton, MA.  She also served as a general counsel intern at the Rhode Island Supreme Court; a corporate counsel intern for a student debt management company in Boston; and a law clerk for a family law firm in Boston.Sarah is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association.  She was a volunteer judge for the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition at the George Washington Law School in 2015 and 2016.  She was also a volunteer judge for the Roger Williams Veterans Law Clinic Student Moot Court presentations in 2015 and 2016.  Sarah is currently an adjunct professor at Roger Williams University School of Law.

In her free time, Sarah is currently learning to play the piano.  She also enjoys doing yoga, hiking in Maine, and playing golf.  She participates in multiple book clubs and is a one-time marathon runner turned casual jogger.
