Brittani L. Howell
Brittani joined CCK in September of 2018. Her practice focuses on representing disabled veterans before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Brittani earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2017. She also earned a Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.) in National Security and Counterterrorism Law from the Institute of National Security and Counterterrorism. During law school, she served as a Managing Editor for the Journal on Terrorism and Security Analysis, Special Features Editor of Impunity Watch, and Research Assistant for the Institute of National Security and Counterterrorism. In 2014 Brittani earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, summa cum laude, from State University of New York, Institute of Technology. In 2012 Brittani earned her A.A. in Liberal Arts from Broome Community College.
Brittani spent a semester representing veterans before the VA in the Veterans Legal Clinic at Syracuse University. Prior to joining CCK, Brittani clerked for New Jersey Superior Court Judge James H. Pickering, Jr., J.S.C.
In her free time, Brittani enjoys hikes with her dog, photography, and traveling.
