    Veterans Law Attorney

    Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick (CCK) is a private, public-interest law firm offering rewarding work with a focus on disabled military veterans and their families, as well as a wide range of other individuals who have been denied life, health, and disability benefits.

    CCK is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time attorney. In this role, you will represent veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces in appeals for VA disability benefits before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) and other legal matters across multiple forums. You may also collaborate with other teams on cases involving different aspects of veterans law beyond appellate litigation.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Case record analysis, brief writing; and
    • Electronic filing of necessary documents and appeals.

    Requirements:

    For Licensed Attorneys:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree froman accredited law school
    • Active admission to at least one State Bar
    • Ability to begin employment in May 2026

    For Graduating Law Students:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree expected in May 2026 or conferred in 2025 from an accredited law school
    • Intention to sit for the February or July 2026 bar exam
    • Ability to begin employment in May or September 2026

    Experience:

    • Prior experience is not required.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary range is $70,000 – $110,000 based on experience
    • Advancement opportunities based on performance.
