Senior Content Editor
As the Senior Content Editor at CCK, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand’s voice and maintaining the highest standards of content quality. This newly created position will report to a Partner and lead a small team, contributing to the creation of compelling and informative legal content while also ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of our marketing materials. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and the marketing team to produce content that engages and educates our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Research, write, and edit a variety of marketing materials including blog posts, articles, newsletters, and other written materials that showcase the expertise of our legal professionals.
2. Editorial Leadership: Oversee the editorial process for all marketing content, including reviewing and editing work from your direct report and other team members. Ensure that all content adheres to our brand guidelines and maintains a consistent and professional tone while meeting assigned deadlines.
3. Content Strategy: Work closely with the Partners and marketing team to execute on the editorial calendar that aligns with our marketing objectives. Contribute to content strategy by identifying key topics, trends, and opportunities in the legal field.
4. Quality Assurance: Review, proofread, and ensure the accuracy of marketing collateral to maintain the highest quality standards and compliance with legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent years of relevant working experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in writing, editing, and content creation
- A track record of generating creative content ideas and meeting tight deadlines
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Benefits:
- The annual base salary for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 depending on experience.

Additional Information:
This position is a full-time position based in our Providence, RI Headquarters. The hours will be 8:00am – 5:30pm EST and may require hours outside of this on occasion.
