Michelle L. DeTore
Michelle has been working with Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick since January of 2012. Currently, Michelle serves as a Supervising Agent. Michelle became an accredited practitioner before the VA in December of 2015. Over the years, she has helped over a thousand disabled veterans, their spouses, and family members secure their benefits before the VA Regional Offices and Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
Michelle attended Roger Williams University, where she earned a B.S. in Legal Studies and Psychology in 2009. After graduating from Roger Williams University, Michelle gained experience representing disabled individuals and their families as a paralegal in a Social Security Disability law firm. In 2015, Michelle spoke at the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA) spring conference about how to utilize paralegals in a VA practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys visiting Cape Cod; attending sporting events; and spending time with her family and dog, Rori.
