Julia Nicole Brown
Julia joined CCK as a Summer Associate in summer of 2022. She is currently an Associate Attorney on the Court Team and focuses her practice on Veterans Benefits appeals before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Julia graduated cum laude from George Washington University in 2020 with a major in History. She then graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2023.
While in law school, she served as an Online Publications Editor for the Northeastern University Law Review, a Research Assistant for Professor Wendy Parmet, and a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Skills in Social Context program. Julia was also published in the Bender’s Labor and Employment Bulletin, where she wrote an article discussing the future of time-rounding practices in labor and employment law.
Prior to graduation, she worked as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor, and as a Law Clerk for Hirsch Roberts Weinstein, LLP.
In her free time, Julia enjoys skiing in her home state of New Hampshire, architecture and landscape photography, live music, and walks at the Chestnut Hill Reservoir with her dog Grover.
