Emily Smith

Emily joined CCK in 2020 as a Veterans Claims Advocate and became an Accredited Claims Agent in 2024. Her practice focuses on representing veterans and their dependents in their appeals at the VA Regional Office and the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.

Emily is a proud Providence College alumna (go Friars!) and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2025, she was the recipient of the Justice and Peace Award at her high school alma mater, Sacred Heart Academy, for living out the school’s core values of justice, unity, reconciliation, and peace through her work on behalf of veterans’ and their families.

Outside of the office, Emily enjoys volunteering as a Girl Scout Gold Award Counselor; hosting her friends and family; and spoiling her cats, Olive and Hank.
