Episode 2: Burn Pits

Burn pits were large areas of land in which the U.S. military and its contractors burned waste generated by military bases. Today, we know that there was a burn pit at nearly every military base in Iraq and Afghanistan during the post-9/11 Operations Iraq Freedom (OIF) and Enduring Freedom (OEF). There is growing concern amongst servicemembers and veterans regarding exposure to burn pits and negative health outcomes.

CCK attorneys look further into military burn pits and the VA disability benefits available for those who were exposed in this episode of The Veterans Legal Lowdown.
