New Bill May Help Veterans Exposed to Agent Orange
Last week, Maine Senators Susan Collins and Angus King announced their plans to introduce a bill to help veterans who may have been exposed to Agent Orange at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Gagetown. The bill would direct VA to establish a registry of veterans who served at CFB Gagetown with health problems to help make their claims known to VA and to identify commonalities among their health problems, as well as to undertake a study investigating the link between Gagetown service and certain health conditions. Canada already has a similar program in place.
