CCK’s Robert Chisholm Receives Award From The Employer Support Of The Guard And Reserve

CCK’s Robert Chisholm received the Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) on January 19, for his outstanding support of the CCK employees who currently serve in the National Guard. The ESGR program is a Department of Defense office that was established in 1972 that works to promote employer support for military service in the National Guard and Reserves. Robert was nominated for the award by CCK attorney Daniel Marusak, who serves also as a Captain in an Infantry unit in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Vice Chair of the RI chapter of ESGR, Phil Albert, who presented Robert with the award, said that “The Patriot Award is a special award that is initiated by the service member that recognizes the contribution of the supervisor towards the employee” and their service in the Guard and Reserves. Also in attendance for the presentation of the award was Lieutenant Colonel Jeffery Schneider, Battalion Commander of the 1-103rd Field Artillery Regiment, of the Rhode Island National Guard, who expressed his gratitude towards CCK for its support of its National Guard soldiers, and especially CCK paralegal Nicholas Shaw, who serves as a Second Lieutenant in his battalion. In accepting the award, Robert stated that he was “honored to receive the award on behalf of CCK” and vowed to “continue to do all I can to support the National Guard.”
