Robert Chisholm will present with fellow long-time National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA) member Matt Hill at the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) conference. Robert and Matt will present three one-hour information sessions on key topics in the field of veterans’ law. The first session, Agent Orange Service Connection Issues, will deal with Agent Orange and service connection when the VA’s presumptive regulation does and does not apply. The second session, When 60% Service Connected Rating Equals 100% Compensation: Lessons in VA Math, will provide an overview of the VA rating system and discuss how to raise and prove unemployability due to service-connected disabilities. The third session, VA Compensation Effective Dates, will provide insight into the VA law governing the assignment of effective dates, and what evidence can be submitted in support of arguments for the earliest possible effective date. The NOSSCR biannual conference will be held November 2-5, 2016 in Seattle, Washington.
