CCK Wins Case For Marine Veteran With Brain Tumor

CCK recently won a 100% rating with Special Monthly Compensation for a Marine veteran with a brain tumor. CCK appealed the denial and argued VA had failed to adequately develop the case in accordance with the guidelines for Persian Gulf and burn pit cases. The regional office then requested the appropriate examinations, the examiner found the veteran’s brain tumor was a multisymptom illness of unknown etiology, and the regional office then granted presumptive service connection.
