CCK Wins 9 Years of Retroactive Benefits for Army Veteran

CCK recently won a significant award for an Army Veteran who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 11 years after discharge.  CCK took the case to the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, where the judge agreed that VA had erred where it failed to provide a medical examination.  On remand, CCK worked with a neurologist who provided an opinion supporting presumptive service connection.  The Board subsequently granted 9 years of retroactive benefits, a substantial award for the Veteran.
