Sarah E. O’Brien

Sarah joined CCK in August of 2018 as an appellate attorney. Her law practice focuses on representing disabled veterans at the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Sarah attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated with a B.A. in Legal Studies in 2015. She then earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in May 2018. During her time at Suffolk, Sarah served as the Vice President of the Suffolk Women’s Law Association. She also served as the Chief Managing Editor for the Suffolk Transnational Law Review, where she published a case comment analyzing the Maritime Drug Law Enforcement Act.

While in law school, Sarah completed a legal internship with the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office and a judicial internship with the Honorable Judd Carhart (Ret.) of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Additionally, Sarah had a meaningful summer as a Summer Associate with Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick in 2017 which led to her return to CCK as an attorney after graduation.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Cape Cod.
