Daniel J. Marusak

Dan joined the firm in June of 2013 as a law student intern in CCK’s Summer Associates Program.  He is now an associate attorney.  His law practice focuses on representing disabled veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Dan graduated from Providence College in 2009.  He then graduated, cum laude, from Roger Williams School of Law in 2014.  He was a member of the Military Law Society during law school.  Dan is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar AssociationDan is also a Captain in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, and has served in the Guard since 2007.  He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, during which he was deployed to Kunar, Afghanistan as Infantry Platoon Leader from 2011-2012.   In April 2013, while serving as an executive officer, Dan led his company in response to the Boston Marathon Bombing, and worked with local police to establish security in Boston’s subway stations.
