Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter works closely with hiring managers to recruit talent and provide our candidates with a great experience during the interview process and throughout the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have previous college recruitment experience, interpersonal ability, and desire to build relationships.

Role responsibilities:

  • Own and manage sourcing qualified candidates for open positions. Create and manage sourcing strategies utilizing a variety of methodologies such as LinkedIn, social media, resume mining, job postings, associations, alumni, employee referrals, etc.
  • Develop and implement effective and efficient recruiting strategies.
  • Lead all college recruiting activities in partnership with applicable hiring managers.
  • Manage recruiting relationships for colleges and universities; law schools; affinity groups; community partnerships etc.
  • Build, maintain, and advance a hiring model that is integrated with the Firms’ staffing needs.
  • When approved, manage external employment agency relationship and process.
  • Ensure that all recruiting processes are documented, consistent, and efficient.
  • Be an enthusiastic advocate for candidate experience with continuous improvement mindset for recruiting and onboarding.
  • Serve as a credible, confident, and informed representative of CCK when making hiring offers and engaging with candidate questions and feedback.
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Oversee the HR Onboarding of new employees.
  • Assist HR Assistants with scheduling interviews, reference checks and creating offer letters as needed.

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three or more years of direct full cycle recruiting experience, college recruiting preferred.
  • Previous experience with applicant tracking systems required.
  • Prior experience working in a consulting firm and/or agency preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create recruitment strategies and creatively source candidates.
  • Courage to provide counsel to hiring managers, hiring teams, and senior leaders representing best practices in Talent Acquisition.
  • Superb organizational and follow-up skills, with a focus on detail orientation and candidate experience a must.
  • Flexibility to adapt to and execute against organizational changes and priorities.

Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD is headquartered in downtown Providence. We actively support associate well-being and work/life balance and offer the following schedules, based on role:

In-office/hybrid: onsite 5 days per week with 35 work from home days to use annually.

This is a full time, salaried position. Days and hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am EST – 5:30pm EST. Hours may vary depending on business need and possible travel for recruitment. However, work outside of regular hours may be necessary and is expected.

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 DOE
